With the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) you could be granted permanent residence and you’ll never have to worry about your visa expiring again. And, you can move here right away.

If you are currently working in the United States on a temporary skilled worker visa category you may be eligible to qualify for Canadian Permanent Residence through the Strategic Recruitment Stream program under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP). Priority processing will be given to those who have received a job offer from an Alberta Employer.

  • If you have a job offer and have already submitted an application to the AINP, please send a copy of your job offer and job description to immigration.info@gov.ab.ca with a subject line of “US Visa Holder Category Job Offer”.
     
  • If you have not yet submitted an application to AINP include a copy of the job offer and job description.
     
  • If you don’t have a job offer yet, download our Websites for Alberta Job Seekers document as a reference to assist you in finding a job.
